[/quote] Sure, you can petition to be a guardian but you can’t force treatment. And you certainly can’t commit someone involuntarily for mental health treatment without going through a lengthy process to show that a mentally ill person is a danger to himself or others. Roaming around the neighborhood and sleeping at the park doesn’t qualify. [/quote]
