[/quote] +1 Agreed, what I don't know won't hurt me. But I would be grossed out too, with an unknown history. If you have 10 people, get a whole container. Why are you serving half a dip? Get a new one, no matter how casual the gathering is. This is just tacky. Definitely not a "hostess with the mostess"! I also tell my kids something is for the party and they can eat it later with the guests. Or, like you said, just put it in a ramekin and I will never know. [/quote]
