Agree. I think I have more energy now, but that's because I finished degrees, started a career and had kids in my 20s. Mid 40s, kids are older teens, I have more time to focus on myself, career and activities.  I've taken on more work, went back to the gym, volunteered for more organizations.

It also helped tremendously to give up wine (95% of the time, I'll still have one glass at a special dinner or party).

Totally.  I wasted a lot of young energy on the wrong things.  I’m more efficient with my resources now, and I’m more experienced at identifying pitfalls.  I’m really excited for the next decade.  I do feel like if I don’t make some moves now, I will never overcome the backwards inertia that started in my thirties when I had young kids.[/quote]
