I'm on the board of the org throwing the party and don't I wish that it were just a nice event with a dress code of "hey spruce up a little!" They love a theme, though! I know what makes for the elements of an 80s prom dress - I went to the prom in the 80s! - just looking for some suggestions from the people who always post really good links here, if they have any time/ideas. That Vince Camuto dress is close - but loose up on top, tighter on the bottom tends unfortunately to be my worst combination. Frump city on me. But I appreciate the suggestion, and it's very close.
