Finally scheduled to paint living room, going with bm cotton balls, a warm white. I like the look of white trim ( which there is a lot in this room) and then a nice color on the ceiling, I want to avoid doing the ceiling in a flat white. I like light blues, but open to ideas... does anyone have any ceiling color suggestions to go with the creamy white? My house is a classic, white Victorian my style leans scandavian/crisp modern country. The hallway color outside the room is bm feather grey. Thanks so much, I always get great help here...
What if you did the BM Feather Grey at 50%? Then white trim in satin finish, and then walls in Cotton Balls in eggshell finish. https://media.benjaminmoore.com/WebServices/prod/cdp/1920x2400/white-paint-077-cotton-balls-OC-122-rgb.jpg https://media.benjaminmoore.com/WebServices/prod/cdp/1920x2400/neutral-paint-229-feather-gray-2127-60-rgb.jpg One of the best 'tricks of the trade' that we learned from our favorite designer years ago was to paint the ceiling in pearl at 50% of the wall color and the trim in a bright white with a satin finish. Since your wall color is basically white, you will be using the adjacent wall color on your ceiling. Lets see what others say!
