Copenhagen for an entire week? Maybe if your kids are enthusiastic walkers, museum-goers, and restaurant goers it would be fun, especially if you’re willing to do some of those days as a local or take train trips. If they’re strong swimmers that would kill the afternoons if you go in summer. Add a day trip to Ilsignor castle and plan a day at Tivoli. You could walk all of the city center in the remaining 2 days and have time to spare, so you’ll want to plan other day trips or add on another city.

I think that beaches around there and in northern Germany are really intriguing but I don’t know enough to suggest spots. Adding a few days of beach time to Copenhagen would be a good mix of city/Northern Europe/Scandinavia experience.[/quote]
