The parents can go, but travel separately and stay in the hotel separately. The kids were bussed to Richmond as a team, they stay in the hotel together and have meals together, they are bussed to the pool together, and they have to be there for the entire meet so if you were only swimming on Thursday you still have to stay through Saturday.
