We are religious garage users but that's not why we do it. We do it to regulate temperature in the summer and winter, stay dry from the rain, and not have to scrape frost and ice/snow in the winter. Its heavenly. I don't understand why everyone with a garage does not do this. I would never go back.
Same. Didn’t grow up with a garage, lived in urban environments for years, so never understood when I read real estate threads and people prioritized garages. Then we moved to the burbs, complete with a two-car garage, and damn if I don’t express my gratitude for that thing on a regular basis. But yes, I do think it helps preserve the car, though I couldn’t quantify that. All I know is that unlike when I was parking on city streets, the bumpers still look flawless.
