I'm 49 and it took me several attempts to do this. Is this easy for anyone? Should I be worried if I ultimately was able to do this on my 3rd attempt. I'm otherwise in good health. Normal BMI, walk everyday, workout 3 times a week.... Here's an article that explains why it might be important. https://www.prevention.com/fitness/fitness-tips/a20440531/the-stand-sit-test-that-predicts-longevity/
Here's the study referenced in the article in case you're interested: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23242910/ Participants were placed in the top scoring group even if they used one hand on both the way down and up. It's not clear how many participants were able to get down/up without any hands. Thus, if you could do it with a one hand assist, you're doing well!
