Were they in a car together at a convenience store? Or some kind of military vehicle? A regular car or SUV, even idling outdoors for hours, will not build up CO. Maybe if the exhaust pipe had been blocked somehow? Or maybe they were parked in a poorly-ventilated garage, or were in a military vehicle with different emissions?[/quote]
