I’m 5 feet tall and 115 and maintain that on 1200 calories a day, assuming at least 5000 steps a day, usually more. However I do exercise almost everyday so I usually eat more than that - 1500 to 2000 depending on what my workout is that day.
(Not OP). Oh my god this is what I need to do (to lose 5 lbs from my current 118 lb, 5 ft frame) and I think it is insane! I am giving myself 2 months but I don’t know how to do it! Unfortunately I can only fit in semi-regular not-super-intense workouts, but the thought of only 1200 calories a day makes me want to bury my head in sand. Preferably ice cream sand.
I am PP. Actually my resting daily calories is closer to 1100. Bumped it up to 1200 through trial and error, the most calories I can eat to maintain current 115. I count calories and macros on an app. I no longer snack and just eat my calories at meals. I found snacking, even with healthy stuff like nuts made me crave food. So my daily meals look like: Black coffee Breakfast 2 egg omelette - 180 cal Lunch Salad (no meat) - 300 cal Dinner - a protein with vegetables and a 1/3 cup rice - abt 500 cal A 120ish alcoholic drink. Of course when I work out, I’ll eat more, usually more at lunch or dinner. Usually fruits or more rice. And no, I’m not starving. As you can see from the above, I don’t have much, if any added sugars.
