French style ice cream is eggier than traditional American style. I have one kid who is allergic to eggs, and thank goodness ingredient labels are clearly marked and common allergens are in bold. Eggs are expensive, so no one is “sneaking” them in. Only the more expensive ice creams contain egg. [/quote]
