This is what we switched to when Breyer’s messed with its recipe.

I can't remember if it has the gum additives or not, but if you have a Costco membership the Kirkland signature vanilla is very good and has a pretty short ingredient list from what I do remember.

lol, I wouldn’t call it “sneaking” - it’s on the ingredient list and even repeated in bold print at the bottom of the list. Some ice creams have egg, some don’t. French style ice cream is eggier than traditional American style. I have one kid who is allergic to eggs, and thank goodness ingredient labels are clearly marked and common allergens are in bold. Eggs are expensive, so no one is “sneaking” them in. Only the more expensive ice creams contain egg.

Look for ice cream from local creameries - they are often sold at some grocery stores. Whole Foods often carries local brands. We have Straus creamery in our local grocery.

Aldi's Specially Selected Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream (not their lower priced-house brand "Belmont")

Not the "creamiest" but only 5 ingredients, no gum additives, and has a decent flavor. At about $4/~quart it's not a bad deal.

Wondering if there are any other ice cream brands that make all natural ice cream without gum additives?

I hate the mouth feel of ice cream with the additives. Breyers was my favorite growing up, but they changed from all natural. I didn't realize till I purchased it after a long hiatus a few years back and couldn't figure out why it wasn't the same till I googled it and learned they sadly changed the recipe.

Turkey Hill has an All Natural which doesn't have g additives and I really like it, it's the mouth feel I love/miss that Breyers used to have. But my grocery store only carries 1-2 flavors and often runs out.

Even Whole Food organic store brand has the gum additives - mouth feel is awful, it literally tastes gummy to me.

Is there anything other than the Turkey Hill All Natural?
