It will if prosecutors follow it all the way to the plotters at the top. The state party leaders should have known better but they can cut deals because they were just intermediaries, it wasn’t their plan. The fake electors weren’t on the Trump campaign or MAGA PAC payroll. They were more likely to be donors than recipients of the grift. They had been chosen as Trump electors through the party convention process. [/quote]

Even worse - if they were donors, they were essentially the ones writing the checks for the Trump campaign and/or MAGA PAC payroll. [/quote]
