Huh? They were the grift. Maybe not all of them, but certainly enough in each state.

The fake electors weren’t on the Trump campaign or MAGA PAC payroll. They were more likely to be donors than recipients of the grift. They had been chosen as Trump electors through the party convention process.

Even worse - if they were donors, they were essentially the ones writing the checks for the Trump campaign and/or MAGA PAC payroll.

It ought to, but the wheels of justice are cranking so slowly.

This has been known since the docs were filed in January 2021. It is a key piece of evidence in the far-ranging conspiracy for trump to remain in power after losing his race for reelection.

Interesting but not sure that makes the case against trump any stronger. I don't think we were ever under the impression that these fake electors were spontaneously organized by locals in each state.

To me the strongest case is Trump calling GA pleading for them to find votes to overturn the election.

On examination of the seven fake elector certificates for the 2020 election that attempted to turn the election in Trump's favor, it turns out that the fake elector certificates that were sent for Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada and New Mexico appear to have used the exact same template - same layout, same wording, same spacing, same fonts, and were completely inconsistent with the appearance, wording, and fonts of genuine elector certificates from each state.



That is compelling evidence that it was coordinated. Yet more evidence that Trump attempted a coup in the 2020 election, and tried to steal that election, along with callously throwing insult into the faces of every voter who turned out to vote in those seven states.

What Trump and his co-conspirators did is without a doubt the worst political crime America has seen in 50 years.
