A while back, I watched Bobbi Brown's Masterclass on make up. She said someone had recommended to her that she wear red nail polish. She had short red nails. https://www.masterclass.com/categories/design-photography-fashion I have always loved red lipstick and red nail polish on those Hollywood glam movie starlets from when there weren't other nail polish colors. As I age, now in my early 50s, one of my thumb nails has ridges. I use Essie ridge filler. I find that I can't really wear lighter nail polish colors, like sheers, which I used to wear all the time. I wear red nail polish around the holidays, and my nails always look really good. This past weekend I wore OPI's Cajun Shrimp on my nails and toe nails. I loved the look. The manicure lasted a week without any chips. Does anyone else wear red nail polish? I can really only wear clear (now I'm wearing OPI nail envy) or darker colors. It's actually easier to apply a red color in one coat and just be done with it. I don't know why I struggled so much trying to apply lighter colors of polish. What are your favorite red nail polishes for summer? OPI Cajun Shrimp is one of my favorites. Essie Clam bake is not as easy to find.
