It felt super low energy the second half. I thought I was crazy until I looked at reddit and Twitter.
Glad y'all had a nice mother's day show
To clarify - I'd never complain about a long merch long. I do hate the fact that each night doesn't have designated merch. Between the public sale on Thursday and nights 1 and 2 there was literally no tour exclusive merch left even at early vip merch booths.
There’s no excuse for that. Especially given how much money is made off of the merch compared to what it costs to make it.

Yes merch lines were long, but everybody knew that you had to get their hours before. She did plenty of talking to the audience, and it was personalized as it was Mother’s Day.

After being stoked about the show it kind of fell flat. It was more like seeing a Broadway show. After seeing her previous tours which were much more personable and somewhat unique. This one just felt factory and cold.
It was a great technical show and she sounded amazing but everything was so fake/planned. I understand the kind of schedule and planning they need to keep but down to faces and reactions. The clapping and cheering after champagne problems - went on forever and her reaction was the exact same down to the faces, words mouthed as the previous two nights. It takes away from the organic moments that used to be in concerts, hers specifically.
Barely had any song intros/speaking and for those of who have been to a Tay show you know this girl loves a speech. She didn't even intro the surprise songs just went right in back to back.
Her energy was off/low the second half of the show. And it was noticeable and palpable. All over Twitter, reddit, fb pages. She's just going through the steps.
Again she sounded amazing and the technical/stage aspect was impressive but the genuine, cute moments are mostly not there and if anything contrived and forced. It was her most distant show. For the price we paid, I don't regret it. But I do think they were overpriced even at face value.
We also never received our vip boxes.
Favorite part of the show was fearless era- it was very sweet to see her perform those songs as an adult. And watch her do the same spin/dance as she did all those years before. Heart hands forever.

From the videos I’ve seen, a good amount of her talking is the same from show to show. I thought her and Phoebe talked on night 3 about it being Phoebe’s last stop, so at least one part was unique.
