Since it’s a math elective, whereas 2 Year Algebra 2 is a core course, I can see how it might have its place. In particular as a summer course: maybe you didn’t do well in Algebra 1 for one reason or another, but don’t want to back off the Precalc track, so you take Bridge over the summer to be sure you’re prepared for standard Algebra 2.

Many colleges highly recommend a minimum of Precalc to be competitive for admissions, even for non-STEM majors. So Bridge could be helpful in that scenario. [/quote]
