There are too many IB schools in the area and they increased West Potomac which detracts from people attending those schools. It's been proposed that only one of these schools be IB so it becomes more like a magnet school and the others become more equal. This has been talked about for years. Go back and do a search. What does that have to do with Lewis and West Potomac? West Potomac is not a destination for Lewis kids trying to get out of Lewis. West Spring Field, South County and Hayfield are all better schools that actually border Lewis [/quote]

I have no dog in this hunt as I live in Western Fairfax.  However, PP who said to get rid of IB is right.  That could resolve a lot of the 'equity" issues across FCPS.[/quote]
