You're going to have to pay for this.[/quote] Parent of the kid who stole the keys has arrived… Stealing someones car keys out of their backpack, moving their car and then losing/keeping the car key is not a prank. What if this kid would've backed over a student/teacher while they were moving the car? What if they would've hit another car or caused damage to property? He sounds like an entitled jerk and/or bully and needs to be punished. And his parents *should* pay for the car to be rekeyed and the new set of keys. If this is a car that requires more modern automatic keys, those are $500 a pop on average to replace. [/quote]
