My current SUV has a much better turning radius than my parents sedan. The height and mirrors also allow me to see much more than sedans. That being said, the large SUVs are a big adjustment from a sedan so make sure you test drive. They take up a lot of the driving lane so you need to make sure you are aware and can manage it well.
