True but advanced math is no longer the golden ticket into TJ like the good old days. Kids seem to get in at all different levels now. [/quote]

I wanted my child in Advanced Math because he loves math and he is good at math. TJ is not the reason that most parents are interested in Advanced Math or LIV or LIII. They want a program that challenges their kid.

And for the TJ obsessed, Advanced Math is still important because the vast majority of kids in 7th Grade Honors Math and Algebra 1 Honors in 8th grade come out of Advanced Math or LIV. [/quote]
