That's partially why we sent our two younger AAP kids to Franklin for AAP. It only splits into two middle schools-- Chantilly and Oakton. Our older kid went to Carson and it split into at least four high schools, which was mind-boggling. We took a gamble with our middle kid, not knowing anything about Franklin, but we woumd up thinking it was a much stronger AAP program than Carson's program, so our younger AAP child also went to Franklin. Their AAP seventh grade teachers were some of the best teachers we have encountered. The civics teacher is also an excellent teacher. Both kids had him and we were impressed with what he had students do.

Our fourth child is much younger, still too young for AAP, but they are at Waples Mill now. If they are found eligible for AAP, we will probably keep them at WMES and just do L3 services. We have been happy with WMES![/quote]
