Don't know Philly well. What's the best way to get to/from the City Hall area to the concert?
Subway- Broad Street Line. They even run special nonstop trains for events (only to the event, the return trains are the regular ones that stop) https://www5.septa.org/travel/routes/broad-street-line-0003/
This is the way. In normal situations I would avoid the BSL because it has a rep for having really crazy/dangerous riders. But for getting to the Linc it is the best way. Don’t lollygag in suburban or Jefferson stations, it is not the DC metro. If you are in suburban station, get up and out of the station as soon as the opportunity presents itself—don’t walk the tunnels at night bc a lot of exits are closed off and there are some scaries who camp out down there.
Correct. Suburban station has so many empty storefronts nowadays that it’s scary. -Someone who lived in the Philly burbs & preferred 30th Street Station bc it’s the nicest
