Driving back to where, you have to explain a bit more? Do you mean driving back to DC after the concert? If so, then just park at the stadium as it is right along the 95South.

So we were thinking of just driving back but the closest garage we could find is 2 miles away (on S Broad).

Is there any chance it makes sense to park further away and take the subway between the car and the stadium?

+1. If you’re walking from the subway to one of the many hotels around there, it’s a 2-3 minute walk and it’s fine. It’s a generally safe area, but I lived a bit west of there for years and didn’t like going east of Broad street at night. It gets grittier and a little sketchier east of Broad. If you go to dinner or something, I would recommend the Rittenhouse area if you’re walking around after dark.

It’s a pretty safe area but it’s an office area so not much happening at night. Broad street south of city hall is ok if that’s what you mean.

This is the way. In normal situations I would avoid the BSL because it has a rep for having really crazy/dangerous riders. But for getting to the Linc it is the best way. Don’t lollygag in suburban or Jefferson stations, it is not the DC metro. If you are in suburban station, get up and out of the station as soon as the opportunity presents itself—don’t walk the tunnels at night bc a lot of exits are closed off and there are some scaries who camp out down there.


Correct. Suburban station has so many empty storefronts nowadays that it’s scary.
