Would a four year old enjoy it?
They probably would but be aware that it’s pretty violent. I felt like the whole movie was people getting hurt. I get why Nintendo fans loved it but it’s not a cute cartoon story. There were way more adults than kids in the theater.
I know some parents really edit violence so I don't want to argue against this poster but for the adults out there this is NOT an adult's movie a la the 90s movie. This IS a kids movie. And it isn't like a pixar kids movie with adult themes, it’s straight up kid's movie. It is kind of violent but in the same way the games are violent. Bowser has some scary parts but this is a kid's movie.
NP I agree with this. The violence was very Original Nintendo/Mario Kart—and Bowser’s scariness is pretty quickly offset by silliness.
NP. Yep, it’s cartoon violence. Nothing that they wouldn’t see playing a Mario game.
