I see almost every movie released in theaters. We saw it on Friday. It was horrible/boring.

They probably would but be aware that it’s pretty violent. I felt like the whole movie was people getting hurt. I get why Nintendo fans loved it but it’s not a cute cartoon story. There were way more adults than kids in the theater.

I know some parents really edit violence so I don't want to argue against this poster but for the adults out there this is NOT an adult's movie a la the 90s movie. This IS a kids movie. And it isn't like a pixar kids movie with adult themes, its straight up kid's movie. It is kind of violent but in the same way the games are violent. Bowser has some scary parts but this is a kid's movie.

Yeah as a player of the original 80s/90s games, this was on par with the cartooney violence.

NP I agree with this. The violence was very Original Nintendo/Mario Kart—and Bowser’s scariness is pretty quickly offset by silliness.

NP. Yep, it’s cartoon violence. Nothing that they wouldn’t see playing a Mario game.

We loved it too!! Bunch of 8 yr old boys and their little siblings (my youngest is 4). All enjoyed! I was so impressed with the score. Who knew orchestral video game music could be so beautiful? We’re going to see it again.

It was one of the most fun movies I’ve seen in a long time. Makes me want to dust off my Nintendo (yes, I’m a former gamer girl).

I just saw it with my kids and we all loved it! It stayed so true to the original games. Not the deepest story, just an hour and a half of fun. As someone who grew up with Mario in the original Nintendo and Super Nintendo, they had a lot of good Easter eggs that made the movie so fun. Totally worth it!
