I hate bullies. But you cannot kill them. Even if they drive their victim to suicide.
PP from above-I said I thought what this mom did was wrong. FWIW, she didn't kill anybody. However, if that was your child, can you honestly say you wouldn't at least wish you could make the abuser feel as bad as they had made your child feel? Maybe in a crazy moment? Again, you are right-it is illegal to kill someone because they are bullying your child. Can't help but think about the case a few years ago where a young girl was harrassed on the internet to the point where she DID commit suicide-the parent's didn't kill the perpetrator but she and her mother were convicted in court of very serious crimes.
PP you quoted here: yes, I 100% agree with you. -my post was not replying to yours btw- I posted as food for thought- this story could have different endings! I personally certainly do NOT wish jail time, nor do I think it would be justified; if all the bully has are some fading red marks on his neck! Now if the bully was in intensive care now, that's would be a totally different story. If her daughter had choked the bully herself that would be a different story, too. Basically IMO she was wrong, but bullies *must be stopped*, and apparently that's often not easy at the present time.
