Ride it out and, honestly, OP, what got us through this period was having really low standards. My metric for keeping kid home is lethargy/energy level. If she doesn't have the energy to participate and is just miserable, I don't send her. Otherwise, she goes to daycare even with a mild cold. If I didn't have this standard she would never be at daycare and we could not work. Would also exclude for fever and vomiting/diarrhea. But just runny nose/cough/etc., she goes to school if she's not that sick.[/quote]
