SOLs are used to help determine who should be in Advanced Math and LIII at our school. High SOL scores go along with grades and iReady scores to place kids into Advanced Math and LIII. Our school uses a cluster model for LLIV so I don't think the SOL impacts Principal Placement since everyone gets the LIV curriculum. But there is a separate Advanced Math class and passing advanced on the math SOL is important to be placed in that group or stay in that group. [/quote]
