Yes, I concur.  This teacher behaves like all teachers are dumb mules that do what they are told to do even if it's illogical and inappropriate for a child.  Why else would this teacher accept for a moment the premise that a student working 3 or 4 grade levels above in her math class should be forced to stay they for a whole year and repeat the same process all over again the next year ... until there is equilibrium and everyone else is close to par.

Perhaps, she will learn some critical thinking skills as she "assiduously" prepares her "lesson plans" in arithematic for her classroom children -- then prepares for how to assess and evaluate these kids a year later based on those lessons plans. [/quote]

Who or what is stopping you from pulling your child out of the public system? money?  Find assistance, or downsize and use your money for tuition.

Who's being illogical?  You have no clue as to how the system works.  We are given the curriculum to teach.  We cannot change it.  Many are given just the bare bones right before school starts, which means that there are not even enough resources to cover the first unit.

Quit with the BS.  Until YOU'RE the one in the classroom surrounded by these frameworks, don't offer your "wisdom" or your criticism.

You're lacking critical thinking skills.  In fact, you can't even operate on a concrete level.[/quote]
