Everyone is playing shirts and skins these days, and as the GOP gets crazier the rank and file just gets crazy with them. Remember who we all kept being *certain* that sane, principled Republicans would vote against Trump, and they never appeared? They don't exist. This is as sane as this guy is going to be in your lifetime, and it's not a great sign that he's still calling himself conservative in a post-Trump, post-Roe, post-January 6, post-Qanon, post-trying-to-make-raped-11-y/o's-become-mothers era.
