Agree with PP you will not get into Maury unless you literally win the lottery with a super good number. Just assume this won't happen, put it out of your mind. Tell yourself over and over "we won't do Maury until K" and remind yourself that having Maury as your IB is a huge and wonderful advantage that you simply won't be able to use for a couple years.

As for whether you will get in elsewhere, it depends on where you lotteried. If you just did Maury, Brent, L-T, SWS, CHMS, TR... odds are good you won't get in anywhere. As with Maury, those other schools require you to win the lottery. Most people don't with the lottery. Assume you didn't, and then if it happens you can be pleasantly surprised.

If you including Appletree, JOW, Miner, even Wheatley up in Trinidad, then odds are good you will get in somewhere.

Since you are guaranteed a spot at Maury in K, I sincerely hope you actually put some of these much more accessible schools on your list if free PK is important to you. If you didn't, please don't come here to complain about it when you don't get a spot anywhere because it will have been your own fault.[/quote]
