But all things aren't equal here - you'd make more money, but it will "cost" you something.  Only you can determine whether the value of the extra money outweighs whatever drawbacks you associate with wearing a suit and coming in to the office.  Expressed differently, how much does the money matter to you?  Will it allow you to eventually retire earlier than you would otherwise be able to?  Will it give you more and nicer vacations every year?  Will it give you more retirement income than you had planned for?  Will the job position you for bigger and better things down the road in a way your current role does not?  If the new job won't provide a meaningful impact to your long-term financial position, then it may not be worth it.  Otherwise, it may be worth sucking it up.
