So, we started with Target diapers, Target brand wipes, basic Desitin, the cheapest laundry detergent at Giant, basic No More Tears newborn shampoo. First kid's butt started to look a little red. Switched to Water Wipes on the pediatrician's recommendation, used those for the first year and then went back to Target brand. No other issues, he was fine with all the other cheap stuff.

Second never had any issues with any of this stuff.

Don't borrow trouble.

Get box of newborn diapers and then just wait and see what happens. Remember, they work up to 10 pounds, and since most babies lose weight before they start gaining, and you go through like 10 diapers a day in the early weeks, almost all even big babies will finish a big box of newborn diapers.[/quote]
