Whether or not a school offers advanced classes and a quality college counseling office matters. You are also ignorant of realty if you think that all applicants of all HS are treated the same. There's a reason that elite boarding schools and superior ranked public HS get 4-10 kids into Ivy schools when most schools can hope for 1 or 2. Colleges weigh he reputation and prior outcomes in considering admissions. None of this is to say that a school can get an unqualified kid into a an elite school, or that a kid can't gain admission from DCI or any school. But it is ignorance and folly to ignore the reality.[/quote]
