Follow up- any word on whether Health B will be ready this summer?
There will be no online summer Health B. Local schools can offer it in person but will need to work w/ Central Office and MSDE to craft the curriculum. Further, it is recommended that class of 2025 be given priority in the class next year. But, any HS student is free to register for said course in the 2023/2024 school year.
Ever, or just this summer? Health A was such a waste of time for my three kids, all of whom took it during the summer and still sailed through with minimal work and their eyes half-closed. And complained that there was nothing new compared to what they'd already learned in years of health education in MCPS. I can't even imagine what Health B is supposed to cover, and making it take up a half-year slot in HS is ridiculous.
