I probably won't watch this show but did check out the first few minutes of the pilot and read a few articles on it. Just hearing the theme music brought me back to my 1980s living room. Sad that so many of the original cast died (and not that old!) and I like that John Larroquete is back. Nostalgia is a powerful feeling.
I watched the second of the two episodes and the last few minutes of the first one -- there was a nice scene with just Larroquette talking "to" the late Harry in Harry's old chambers. Interestingly, a couple of publications like Variety gave it positive reviews and noted that viewers need to give it a couple of episodes. Reviewers got the first six episodes, apparently, and a couple said that it takes a few episodes to get going but is funny and does refresh the old show. Dan (Larroquette) being a total lecher about women is gone, for instance, can't play that any more. I'll watch some more episodes and see how it goes. Larroquette is a great comic actor and I liked the way Dan was struggling with changing from being a prosecutor to being a defense attorney!
