The entire Thrive scam was pushed through without the approval of the county executive...and he simply wanted to slow it down for further review, as was recommended by several groups, some of whom were contracted by the planning board itself.  They well knew that if it wasn't passed right away and the plan was subject to a thorough review, it never would have passed.[/quote]

The plan was subject to a thorough review. How do I know this? Because everyone kept saying the same things about it, over and over and over and over and over, for month after month after month. Years, really. I was hoping that once it was passed, we wouldn't have to hear everyone say the same things about it for even more months, but obviously that was a vain hope.[/quote]

The only thing I ever hear about thrive from its opponents are complaints about the process. But I've been hearing about thrive for years and I'm not plugged in at all. They've been doing this all out in the open. Move on.[/quote]
