Why is it impossible to get an ultrasound? In your shoes, I would express concerns about possible missed miscarriage, citing 1) your history; 2) disappearing symptoms; 3) significant anxiety. Play it up as much as possible. Practice specific, perhaps, but after my miscarriage I was able to talk my way into an early ultrasound surprisingly easily. Best wishes to you. This is the worst stage of pregnancy imho. Different circumstances since I've never had HG or similar, but I tend to have little to no symptoms in the first trimester and I know it can be stressful.
+1. After a missed miscarriage that I found out about at my first appointment at 9 weeks, I asked to have an ultrasound at barely 6 weeks with my next pregnancy to confirm that the pregnancy was viable. Absolutely ask for an earlier scan based on your history. My OB and her team were very sympathetic to my situation and I hope that yours would be too.
