What time does he go to bed and wake up? At 4 mine was fine in pre k but was generally in bed between 7-730.
He’s in bed by 7:15/7:30. Bedtime can be stalled but he’s always asleep by 8. Up between 6:15-7am depending on the day.
asleep by 8 and up at 615 is not enough sleep for most 4 year olds. If yours seems exhausted he is one of them. If the 615-7 wake up is because of your work schedules ( not judging) then get him in bed earlier. 12 hours is pretty standard for this age.
It’s not! We both wfh. He’s just usually up early. He won’t sleep with the door closed so he hears us shuffling about. Can try earlier bedtime.
Can you stay in your room longer or not shuffle around until he is awake?
My son is a super light sleeper and I have given up early morning workouts because no matter what I wake him up occasionally and he is a disaster that afternoon. My husband and I both stay in bed until we are ok with the kids getting up. It won’t be forever.
Not OP by the way just commiserating
