The maps that show where Elissa got the most support in 2018 and then in 2022 are striking, because her votes almost totally disappeared in Wards 2, 3 and (perhaps most surprisingly) 4. She always had trouble getting votes EOTR and that didn't change this year, but wide swaths of the city turned their backs on her. You're never going to win a citywide elections if the only people who vote for you are privileged white people in Wards 1 and 6. Silverman learned that the hard way in 2022.[/quote]
