Low fat cottage cheese defeats the purpose. If you’re really going to do this, the fat replaces the carbs. Eggs for breakfast, chicken and salad for lunch, meat and salad for dinner - use an oil/vinegar/spices dressing, and some berries or melon and cheese for a snack. You will lose about seven pounds, most of which you will gain back again when you go back to eating like a real person.
I’m not sure why the snark. I have had a VERY rough last 2 months and neglected myself. I mean like kid had suicide attempt. He’s finally in a stable place and I’m trying to feel good for a wedding that I wasn’t even sure I could attend until last week. Appreciate the diet tips, your opinion is not helpful.
I’m sorry that came across as harsh. I didn’t mean it that way. I understand what you’re doing - trying to get some measure of control over a life that is out of control right now. The reason I know all those things is because this was how I started down my path to an eating disorder, where it really was trying to get over some bad things. So if you really feel you need to do this, I gave you the right recipe. Berries and cantaloupe are low carb fruits. Lettuce is a low carb vegetable. Full fat dairy and cheeses with meat protein will help fill you up. Get a jar of natural peanut butter and grab one spoonful when you really need something. Lots of warm herbal tea to fill you up. But once you start, it’s very hard to get off the train and it can take you to some bad places, which not sounds like you don’t need. But I agree with the poster above - get a nice wrap dress to hide whatever you feel needs hiding,
