I’m not sure why the snark. I have had a VERY rough last 2 months and neglected myself. I mean like kid had suicide attempt. He’s finally in a stable place and I’m trying to feel good for a wedding that I wasn’t even sure I could attend until last week. Appreciate the diet tips, your opinion is not helpful.

Ignore the haters. PP, FWIW, I am a huge emotional eater when my kids have serious mental health crises. I used Noom, which didn’t really help me lose weight (a very low carb, IF diet did that) but did help me recognize and cut way back on the emotional eating.

I’m sorry that came across as harsh. I didn’t mean it that way. I understand what you’re doing - trying to get some measure of control over a life that is out of control right now. The reason I know all those things is because this was how I started down my path to an eating disorder, where it really was trying to get over some bad things. So if you really feel you need to do this, I gave you the right recipe. Berries and cantaloupe are low carb fruits. Lettuce is a low carb vegetable. Full fat dairy and cheeses with meat protein will help fill you up. Get a jar of natural peanut butter and grab one spoonful when you really need something. Lots of warm herbal tea to fill you up. But once you start, it’s very hard to get off the train and it can take you to some bad places, which not sounds like you don’t need.

But I agree with the poster above - get a nice wrap dress to hide whatever you feel needs hiding,

Not the poster you’re responding to, but there’s no snark here. Just the truth.
Sorry about your kid. If it were me, I’d focus on getting a kick-ass dress at whatever size I’m at rather than dealing with the daily stress of being hangry all day long. Good luck to you and your family.

Oof. Thats really hard. Asparagus would be good, very high fiber. I would drop the cottage cheese and replace with tuna or sardines. Good luck.

If I had to do this, I would make eggroll in a bowl and eat it every meal for the. 10 days. Good luck! the reset will feel good. You could also order Prolon for the last 5 days. totally does the trick.

I lost 20 pounds doing somewhat low carb. What I do- I did not cut fruits. Fruits are wonderful and nobody got fat eating apples and oranges. Same with the squash. These foods have valuable nutrients and your nutrition needs to come before weight loss. I cut breads, sweets, pasta, and rice. Everyone is right that you should replace the cheese with a protein or fat.

PP is correct - you want to replace the carbs with fat. You can add in some string cheese, olives, nuts, protein shakes etc.

This is just to jump start my plan to lose 15 lbs. fruit has sugar and if I eat whole grains I won’t burn fat.

Squash has carbs. Just eat chicken, fish, or steak + vegetable for dinner.

Will do. How do I increase protein w/out fat?
Once I finish the squash I’m moving to asparagus and bell peppers because I read that is lower carb.

Looking for 10 day very low carb diet to lose bloat and 1-2 lbs.
I take today:
Hard boiled egg w/black coffee
Greek salad w/ grilled salmon
I know I’ll have 1cup low fat cottage cheese tonight before bed.
Dinner will probably be roasted winter squash on greens.

Is this low carb enough? I could eat a version of this every day for the next 10 days if it will remove bloat.

And I’m doing 30 min cardio, 10 min abs (Caroline Girvin), 20 min yoga with Adriane.
