my normal commute is 18 Miles each way..  That's 7200 miles work related.  I checked my mileage from a year ago.  i rove 15142 miles over the last 12 months  the year before  a tick over 14K miles

I didn't have any big trips but had a fair amount of travel to Annapolis and back.

WFH has changed a lot of the driving dynamic for many people.  not all, but enough.   Up side,  is that maybe you'll save a few bucks....

not a tin foil hat wearing person.  but downside i see is that you car is now networked and DMV is tracking your vehicle.  Yes I know by carrying a cell phone, driving through tolls and using credit cards  I'm being tracked.  if someone wants to track me.  not sure putting the DMV in my car voluntarily to save a few bucks is worth it.
