The more elite, prestigious schools are St. Paul's, Andover, Exeter, Choate, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Lawrenceville. But there's also a lot of boarding options that aren't on the uber prestigious list which have merit. Again, it depends what you're looking. WE looked at schools for DD. Toured and stayed at some. In the end, she opted not to apply, but friends who attended the above schools have nothing but positives to say. [/quote]
