We struggled to stay open, to keep providing care and paychecks/benefits throughout the pandemic. I think I’m ready to pack it in. I don’t begrudge individuals who truly need the leave. This particular person was sure to enquire about whether she will still be eligible for her Child Care Equity Fund payment while out on leave, otherwise she would put her leave off. This will be her second DCPFL stint, as it renews yearly. She is a DC resident though! I’m sure the market will figure this all out, I just can’t do it anymore. I’m too tired.[/quote]
