MPD should be on Circulators, akin to TSA on planes - you won't know who they are, but they will keep you from hurting anyone. But that would require a huge cultural shift at MPD. They view themselves more as warriors than cops with all of us and our petty needs, like safety, beneath them. Look at their crime clearance rates - it's almost as if we pay them to not work.
