When we were growing up we were just sort of taught to be accepting and not point things out. Now I’m a parent and my child is pointing things out left and right and I’m worried she might say something offensive when describing someone’s skin tone. We are not allowed to make any type of remarks in fear of being thought of as racist. So that is my perspective.[/quote]
