Ok, I understand  the jewels,  but the actions were  part of the country's doing, and not really  her, actually.  Shouldn't England address these issues? The monarchy hasn't really had any power in a very long time.  She couldn't have made any one decision,  and they are supposed  to be apolitical.  
How is it different than  the legacy  of Spain, or  the US? I think we have a lot of repairing  to do.

What?  I really think the world keeps them in the palace, otherwise what purpose  do they serve?  No, I never understood why they still have all this . But then, we do not and elevate celebrities instead. I just don't understand the targeted criticism,  regarding colonization,  of the queen after her death,  when she literally had no power. Target the country.  You  can criticize their wealth, their family dynamics,  all kinds of BS, but this is quite a stretch  to target her for Africa, India, etc. [/quote]
